walk them home campaign

Together, We Can Ensure No One Walks Alone.

We believe every person deserves dignity, understanding, and support. Too often, people facing mental health challenges, homelessness, or the hidden toll of serving others, including first responders, healthcare workers, police, and veterans, are left without the compassion or resources they need. The Walk Them Home Campaign is our commitment to changing that.

What is the Campaign?

Walk Them Home is an initiative dedicated to supporting:

  • First Responders including police officers, firefighters, and healthcare professionals who spend their lives showing up for others in moments of crisis. Many carry the invisible weight of trauma, PTSD, burnout, and emotional exhaustion, and they deserve the same care, grounding, and safety they provide to their communities.
  • Veterans who have served with courage at home and abroad and now face the ongoing impact of trauma, PTSD, and life transitions that can leave them vulnerable, overwhelmed, or isolated.

Walk Them Home is about compassion in action. It honors those who have walked others home through crisis and ensures that when they need it most, they are walked home too, safely, respectfully, and with dignity.

Our Mission

To shed light on vulnerable moments that could define a life and to advocate for a different, more compassionate path.

We aim to:

Who the Campaign Supports

First Responders

The Walk Them Home Campaign supports first responders by providing tools, training, and partnerships that help them navigate crisis situations with greater safety, empathy, and effectiveness – empowering them to protect both the public and themselves.

Healthcare professionals are supported through initiatives that promote dignity, compassionate care, and cross-sector collaboration – helping them uphold their mission to heal while improving safety and outcomes for patients and providers alike.

The Walk Them Home Campaign supports veterans by offering tools and support systems that help them navigate life after service. By connecting them with trauma-informed care, trusted networks, and community-based resources, the campaign reinforces that they are never alone on the path home.

For families and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness, memory loss, or other vulnerabilities, the campaign offers education, community support, and advocacy resources that bring understanding, hope, and connection to those walking this journey.

For community allies, the Walk Them Home Campaign is a call to action – a movement to build awareness, empathy, and solutions that heal, not harm, ensuring every individual is treated with humanity and respect.
